Crisis Assist

Providing a helping hand to neighbors in crisis is essential to fostering a strong community. We provide critical support to individuals and families in distressing situations. We provide resources for food, housing, transportation, money management, employment, and education. These resources aim to alleviate immediate needs and empower families to work toward long-term stability and independence.

“Serve one another in Love.” Galatians 5:13. This reminds us that we are here to care for and share with each other. There is no higher calling than to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus to our neighbors. We hope you will join us in this ministry. Monetary donations and volunteer hours help us help them. Thanksgiving Day
Help the homeless, hopeless, and homebound.
Our Annual Thanksgiving Day Event is something we plan and look forward to all year long! Held on Thanksgiving Day, the event provides hot meals and Care Bundles—such as pet food, blankets, Bibles, and more—to brighten the holiday for those in need, thanks to the generosity of our loving volunteers.

What started around the Gunters’ table in 2007 has since grown to serve more than 5,000 individuals across Georgia. We’re proud of how this event has expanded, but we still rely on our wonderful community to make it happen.

Join us in spreading kindness this Thanksgiving.

Sign Up HERE to volunteer for one or more of the tasks and enjoy the fellowship of volunteering.

Night of Hope
The "Night of Hope" is a heartwarming annual event held on the Thursday before Christmas. This gathering offers a unique and special experience for children with incarcerated parents and their caregivers. Volunteers come together to create an atmosphere of joy, compassion, and hope during what can often be a challenging time for these families.

Families enjoy a delicious meal together. The evening also includes inspirational speakers who share messages of overcoming hardship, offering hope and encouragement to the attendees. The Gospel message is also presented, adding a layer of spiritual comfort and connection. The children receive gifts provided by volunteers who have adopted a child from out Angel Tree.

To adopt a child from the angel tree and to volunteer, call 866.940.8782 for more information.
